Northwest Ohio Values

Values are shared among every American. They do not belong to "blue states" or "red states," or Republicans or Democrats. Values are the one piece that ties us all together. And I can assure you that our Northwest Ohio values will be preserved when I am your representative in the Ohio House.

Northwest Ohio is the perfect place to raise a family. Everyone is friendly, and willing to give a helping hand. Communities unite to support people's needs. You are treated as part of a family when you live here. This is our greatest asset that must continue to stand. It's what makes us unique as compared to other areas. People can rest assured that their children will be safe.

In schools, instilling strong moral values and character are key. What are our values? Among them: the value of an education, the values of understanding, dignity and respect; the value of country, and the democracy we all love; the value of free worship, and tolerance; the value of strong character and creative thought.

We strive for the soundness of academic and scientific principles, and value these.

We value the opportunities of America - the chance to make your own living, and stand on the pinnacle of a new dawn. We raise our flags in saluting liberty and justice. We honor the brave men and women who serve and have served in the defense of freedom. We soar with the eagle to see with clarity and purpose, and have the wind forever at our backs. With the stars we see God, striped in hard work and patriotic pride.

Is there a difference between domestic values and moral values? We know that both are part of the fabric of humanity, and we hold this value most dear. You need a home to build your values, and I will stand representing you each day with this in mind and in heart.
